Post subject:  Newbie Question...

Hi all,

First post so bear with me ;o)

I have always been less than successful re my attempts at Bonsai. However, I bought a little Elm (English Elm) a years or so ago and (touch wood!) he's doing fine. I would like to repot him but am terrified I'll kill the little thing off....

...all help appreciated!

Yes Don, I've noticed that Tonys are increasing in number. Maybe i should stick to "Lanky".

If you need to root prune the elm it is normally best to do it before it leafs out.
If it is already in leaf you could still move on into a larger pot without disturbing the roots and just fill in around the current rootball with similar compost no problem.
