Hi all, First post so bear with me ;o) I have always been less than successful re my attempts at Bonsai. However, I bought a little Elm (English Elm) a years or so ago and (touch wood!) he's doing fine. I would like to repot him but am terrified I'll kill the little thing off.... ...all help appreciated! Tony... |

Yes Don, I've noticed that Tonys are increasing in number. Maybe i should stick to "Lanky". Tony Shires |

If you need to root prune the elm it is normally best to do it before it leafs out. If it is already in leaf you could still move on into a larger pot without disturbing the roots and just fill in around the current rootball with similar compost no problem. |
