Pretty normal for people to ask advice and buy some wire, food etc. Just spend a little and everyone wins.

The Sutton members are a friendly bunch................ and most of them are house trained :07hysterical: :07hysterical:

If you are considering going to Windybanks it's worth giving Ken a ring first to make sure that someone is there to answer your questions

Found my old watercolour set, and thought I'd have a go at trying to paint one of my more interesting trunked trees. Based it roughly on what I see it becoming, based on Brendan's virt. I haven't got around to taking it to Windybank or Sutton bonsai club yet, but the more I look at this Azalea, the more I'm convinced that this is the way to go. Quite pleased with how it came out seeing as I've not done much in the last ten years+, and I didn't spend too much time on it.

First major work on this one in a couple of years. I separated an air layered thick trunk that I hadn't actually realised had rooted and cut back some long extensions, cluster branches etc. Is that long right branch *too* long? I feel maybe I should halve it.
