Hi all,

Hope you’re all well, thank god the some sun and heat has finally arrived!

I was just wondering if Tesco’s cat litter is still the same? I noticed that the topic hasn’t been discussed in a few years. Or perhaps there is another supermarket cat litter?

Cheers,

Hi

I believe all the supermarkets and pet places sell it. Just check that it is Molar Clay.

Bigger particles than it used to be, the last time I got some. It’s more or less the same as the Sanicat now.

That is exactly what I have found.

For smaller particles - as I usually want for smaller trees, have a look here:

Ugh, I had forgotten about this - would have been useful in the spring!

Tried to buy some of the safety tread from Amazon and got the message after paying for it that it was no longer available. It is good stuff and much smaller granules than Sanicat.

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up hiking out to Tesco as my local Waitrose only has a few cat litters on the shelves being Catsan and their own basic stuff. Both failed with added chemicals and folding apart with water and pressure. So no the cat litter we all want (for bonsais) is not available in all supermarkets.

…and as Owen said, the particles are now a mix of small and larger which I guess has its certain pros and cons.
